About Our Partner: Tender Care Liberia, Inc.

Tender Care Liberia, Inc. is a registered non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization committed to the safety, protection, and well-being of the individuals we serve, especially children, vulnerable adults, and staff engaged in our programs and activities. Established and incorporated in 2011 and accredited by the Government of Liberia, Tender Care has since gained public recognition for its innovative and impactful approach to community empowerment.

Our organization is dedicated to contributing to the rebuilding of Liberia by empowering vulnerable groups through various forms of training, education, and capacity-building initiatives. We are deeply engaged in skills development, agriculture, women’s economic empowerment, and the Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) methodology, helping transform lives from poverty to prosperity.

About Our Senior Managers


Pastor Abraham J. Cheyee


Founder and Chair of the Board

Pastor Abraham J. Cheyee is the Founder and Chair of the Board of Tender Care Inc. He brings over three decades of dedicated service and leadership in the humanitarian sector. A missionary by calling and a visionary leader by practice, Pastor Cheyee currently serves as the Country Director for BMA Global in Liberia.
Throughout his ministry and professional journey, he has made remarkable contributions to improving the lives of people in rural Liberia. His work has focused on education, community development, and faith-based empowerment. Under his leadership and vision, the Tender Care School was established, providing access to quality education for children in underserved communities.
Pastor Cheyee’s impact extends beyond education as he has spearheaded several community initiatives aimed at promoting hope, dignity, and sustainable livelihoods among the most vulnerable. His unwavering commitment to service, compassion, and development continues to inspire the mission and values of Tender Care Inc.

Armour Cheyee


Executive Directo

Mr. Armour Cheyee is a dedicated humanitarian professional with over half a decade of experience in the nonprofit and development sector. As the Executive Director of Tender Care Inc., he leads the organization’s strategic vision to empower rural communities across Liberia through education, agriculture, and capacity-building initiatives.
Mr. Cheyee has worked extensively with farmers, teachers, and community-based organizations in Nimba and Grand Gedeh Counties, focusing on improving livelihoods and promoting sustainable development. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to transparency, innovation, and impact-driven service. Under his direction, Tender Care Inc. continues to expand its reach and strengthen its partnerships for community transformation.


Clara Pinky Thompson


Human Resource, Administrative and Fundraising Manager

Ms. Clara Pinky Thompson is a passionate youth and women’s empowerment advocate from Liberia, West Africa. She holds a degree from the African Methodist Episcopal Zion University, where she developed a strong foundation in leadership, community engagement, and development work.
Throughout her career, Clara has worked extensively with youth and women’s groups, dedicating her time and energy to uplifting underrepresented voices and promoting social change at the grassroots level. Her expertise also extends to fundraising and resource mobilization, where she has contributed to designing and implementing initiatives that support community development and empowerment programs.
Her commitment to community service, capacity building, and sustainable fundraising has made her a respected figure among young leaders in Liberia. Driven by a deep belief in the power of education, dialogue, and opportunity, Clara continues to create inclusive spaces where young people and women can thrive and lead. Her vision aligns closely with Tender Care Inc.’s mission to build stronger, more resilient communities through collaboration and empowerment.
